CashDash frequently asked questions

CashDash allows travellers to purchase and sell foreign currency cash and perform cash transfers, at low rates, without having to use a card. CashDash supports easy payment via a powerful mobile app that effectively transforms smartphones and tablets into virtual currency exchange "booths".

Travellers are able to buy foreign currency at low rates, at any time, from anywhere in the world. Once deposited in the Cash2Go e-wallet, funds can then be accessed by selecting a convenient Cashzone ATM in London where customers can withdraw their money in GBP free of charge, and without the use of a bank card.

You may withdraw cash 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, at any CashDash enabled ATM.

To withdraw cash:

  • Open the CashDash app on your mobile device.
  • Locate a nearby CashDash enabled ATM (tapping the search button will allow you to locate nearby ATMs, and you may even use in-app navigation).
  • Tap the ATM Access button on the main app screen's navigation bar.
  • At the ATM, enter your phone number, as registered on CashDash (your number is indicated on the mobile app screen).
  • Enter the passcode as presented in the CashDash app.
  • Select the amount you wish to withdraw.
  • Pick up the cash from the ATM.

CashDash transactions are free of charge at all CashDash enabled CashZone ATMs.

However, while the majority of our machines are free-to-use for standard transactions, for any GBP sterling withdrawals not made through the CashDash app you may be asked to pay a small fee to use some of our ATMs. Fees vary by location and are in addition to any fees that may be charged by your financial institution.

Fee-charging ATMs are clearly signposted and users are given the opportunity to proceed or cancel a transaction before a fee is charged.
